Karen Street with Fred T. Baker, Sara Colman and Andy Tween
Another Story is the next chapter in my musical journey. It's a mixture of styles with some standards, original tunes and a pop song reflecting the diverse nature of the accordion and my own musical influences.
I've been working with Fred Baker for about eight years and whatever I throw at im he comes up with the goods. On this recording he works twice as hard playing both guitar and bass.
Sara Colman has always been one of my favourite singers and it was a pleasure to work with her at last. Her creative imput was invaluable.
I initially met Andy Tween (not to be confused with Andy Tweed my husband, which makes me Karen Tweed but not the Karen Tweed of the folk world with whom I am often confused; but I digress) at Guildhall School of Music and then later when we moved to the West Country. He is now Seth Lakeman's drummer but we managed to steal him for a day.
